how do you turn public quicknotes on. because for some reason, it got turned off.
I think there is a shortcut Quicknote command you can use: Try typing "/togqn" in the Quicknote edit field and see if that will work.
If not, you can go to your account settings either:
by getting in the edit field where you'd type a Quicknote message, and typing "/j account", or just by going to the home page of this site and click on the link that says "My Account".
When you get into that, there is a combo box there where you can select to block all Quicknotes, show only Public or Private Quicknotes, Quicknotes, or to show both.
So just arrow to the one you want, and when you click on the Make Changes button toward the bottom of that page, it should go back to whatever Quicknote setting you chose.
you can also use /togpub. that will work also. as far as i'm aware, /togqn now turns all the messages off. but yes, it did used to turn the publics off
